CHROMESTEP
Alter ego: Ezra Castellano, 50, Italian-Argentinian classic-car restorer and retro-sneaker collector from Los Angeles.
“Original never goes out of style.”
Origin
Ezra was restoring a 1960s lowrider when an earthquake shook his garage. The car's hydraulics jumped and lifted the falling roof beam off his young apprentice. When he touched the chrome, he felt the car's whole history. Old-school things have answered him ever since.
Powers

- Restore Touch: brings old machines, sneakers and records back to like-new
- Old-School Memory: feels the history of any classic object
Weakness
Rushing the craft: if he skips the slow, careful steps, his restores fall apart.
Sidekick
Shine, a small tortoise with a chrome-shiny shell who is always on time.
Villain
The Knockoff, who mass-produces cheap copies of classic designs.
Costume
a copper and retro-cream fitted hero suit like a vintage racing jacket, chrome trim, espresso panels (under 20%), classic white-and-copper high-top sneakers.
